5．气味是生物三界的共同语言，同界生物之间、不同界生物之间都使用气味进行交流；

6．没有气味相同的两种物质，物质不变气味不变，物质改变气味必变。气味有互补性，互补气味就是能起化学变化的两种气味，一旦相遇必起变化，两种气味同时消失产生新的气味；

7．不存在非气味物质，任何物质在绝对零度以上时都有分子逃逸到空气中，人感受不到不等于不存在，忽视了其它生物也能感知气味，正如 光有可见光与不可见光，声有次声波与超声波，都不是以人划线的。

8．任何生物的嗅觉仅有一定的感知范围，与其生存需要相关，有益的叫正相关，有害的叫负相关，不需要也无害的气味往往是该生物的嗅觉盲区。有些物质生物需要它但是处处都存在不需要刻意寻求的也是嗅觉的盲区，比如空气和水。但是沙漠之舟的骆驼需要找水，它能在80公里以外闻到水源的方向；

9．植物的五种气味语言和两种作用，五种语言是：邀请语言、警告语言、驱赶语言、求救语言、应答语

24．气味是一种分子波，具有波的三要素：发生源，放射性，可接受性。传递速度与分子量成反比。受风的影响，但是能逆风传播。气味是一种分子波，可以在空气和水中传播，与光电磁波或声波都不相同，这两种波是能量波，光电磁波可以在真空中传播，声波不可以在真空中传播，气味波在真空中是扩散，速度最快；

27．香与臭有量的界限，香极则臭，臭味极淡则香。麝香近闻极臭，远闻则香。柳桂花开花季节树下臭如大便，远闻芳香扑鼻。化工产品香蕉水淡时香浓时臭。
